Mid America Motorworks Tornado Loss

Last night at the hockey rink the news was showing a tornado near Effingham, Illinois, it was amazing seeing the damage live.

This afternoon I learned that tornados in Effingham Illinois last night destroyed the Mid America Motorworks building and all of the inventory inside.

The first showing of the Real Source Bugfest was a great show. The entry was free, and just for registering you were given a free T-Shirt, as well as $5 in free food, and don’t forget the 10% off all catalog sales at the show. Since the show was on the Mid America Designs grounds you could visit the museum, and pick up your product orders that afternoon! There were more than 100 Air-cooled VWs as well as some 20+ New Beetles and Water Cooled VWs. The cars were not grouped in categories, below are pictures of many of the winners as well as other entries.
