Unique Wheels on the 1973 Super Beetle

In 1998 after we had the Super Beetle painted in Sedalia Missouri, we wanted to figure out what wheels to put on it.

It was the 90s, I can’t say I made the right decision, but you can see the wheels I chose in the photo here on the page.

I don’t know that I would choose those wheels again today, but I do have fond memories of them. As a 21 year old, these were the first time I picked out a set of wheels for a car. I honestly have purchased too many sets of wheels to count since then, I definitely put more thought into the wheels for the Super Beetle than I have for any wheel set since.

Side note: that guitar pictured with the wheel, is hanging in my office today.
